Rob Labritz carded a bogey-free 7-under-par 64 to win the PGA TOUR Champions Qualifying Tournament (Final Stage), Dec. 10, 2021, at TPC Tampa Bay in Lutz, Florida. Posted a 72-hole score of 17-under 267 to finish three strokes ahead of runners-up Thongchai Jaidee and David Branshaw. Labritz has played in eight PGA Championships, including each of the last three, and earned low club professional honors in 2010 (T-68) and 2019 (T-60). At the Senior PGA Professional Championship in October 2021, he finished sixth, one spot away from an exemption into Final Stage…Posted first top-5 finish in a PGA Tour Champions event at the 2022 Rapiscan Systems Classic. Finished T-8, 2021 PGA Professional Championship. Previous PGA Championship Experience: 2002, ’03, ’10, ’13, ’16, ’19, ’20, ’21. Has twice finished as the PGA Championship's Low PGA Club Professional: 2010/Whistling Straits (T-68) and 2019/Bethpage Black (T-70). In the 2013 PGA Professional Championship, made the No. 1 spot in "Shot of the Day" on ESPN's Sportscenter after holing out for birdie at Crosswater Club in Sunriver, Oregon (the timely shot came during a six-way playoff for the last of 20 berths in the PGA Championship)...Was an undefeated member of the 2003 U.S. PGA Cup Team (5-0-0). Named 2002, '03, '08, '3, '15, and '16 Westchester Golf Association Player of the Year. Finished T-50 in the 2003 Australian Masters. Was the 2004 medalist in the Canadian PGA Tour Q-School and a Canadian Tour Member in '04 and '05. Winner, 2008, '13, '16 New York State Open (all at Bethpage Black); 2016 Westchester Open.Three-time Metropolitan PGA Section Professional Champion.
