SPECTATOR GUIDE

GENERAL INFORMATION

Commitment to Health 
While the excitement of major championship golf and the beauty of Southern Hills Country Club will remain, many aspects of the spectator experience will be adapted. We encourage everyone to closely review the policies and procedures in the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship Commitment to Health here before heading to Southern Hills Country Club in May.

Admission Policy
Tickets and/or credentials will be required for admission into the Championship. Please retain your ticket or credential at all times as security personnel will not allow admission into the event for individuals without appropriate credentials. Please do not tamper or interfere with the bar code presented on the ticket or credential. The PGA of America is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets and/or credentials.

Military Admission Policy
To honor the men and women who serve our country in the Armed Forces, the Championship is pleased to offer Active Duty, Retirees, Veterans, Reserve, National Guard and their accompanying guest (limit one) complimentary daily grounds access to the Championship. Please visit HERE to register for complimentary military tickets. Please note, these tickets cannot be upgraded to alternate venues, but are eligible for the junior admissions policy.

Photo & Autograph Policy
Cameras are only allowed on-site at Southern Hills Country Club during Practice Rounds, Tuesday and Wednesday, and are not permitted on-site during Championship Rounds, Thursday through Sunday. All direct player-spectator interaction is prohibited. For the health and well-being of everyone on-site, no handshakes, fist bumps, or autographs will be permitted and all spectators and volunteers are asked to maintain social distancing between themselves and players/caddies. Please consult the Mobile Device Policy for guidelines regarding mobile device photo, audio, and video capturing while on-site.

Mobile Device Policy
Mobile devices must be kept in Golf Mode Setting at all times during the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship:

  • Set your device to silent or vibrate, including but not limited to, ringer, notifications, and alerts.
  • Camera flash turned off.
  • Incoming and outgoing calls may only be made or received farther than 100 yards away from competition.
  • Text, email, social posting and other data use is allowed on the golf course at any location providing players are not in position and about to play their shots.
  • Mobile device photography, as well as audio and video capturing, is allowed in all areas during Practice Rounds (Tuesday-Wednesday).
  • During Championship Rounds (Thursday-Sunday), photography, audio and video recording is prohibited anywhere within 100 yards of competition or when requested by players, caddies, marshals, volunteers, security or Championship staff and officials.

Items to Leave At Home
The following items may NOT be brought on-site at the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. Prohibited bags will NOT be accepted or stored on-site.  

  • All Backpacks & Drawstring Bags
  • Bags larger than 10X10X10 in their natural state (Bags larger than 10X10X10 sold in The PGA Shops will be tagged as prohibited for readmission due to size regulations)
  • Personal electronics such as computers, laptops, tablets and radios 
  • Drones, hoverboards, laser pointers, whistles/noisemakers, selfie sticks
  • Banners, posters, signs, or any materials with unauthorized advertising or promotion 
  • Weapons of any kind (regardless of permit), including pocket knives
  • Coolers, food (except in limited quantities for medical, dietary, or infant purposes)
  • Golf Clubs or other sports equipment 
  • Buckets, ladders, milk crates, or stools
  • Oversized chairs with wide armrests 
  • Alcoholic beverages, beverages (one unopened, sealed bottle of water per spectator is permitted)
  • Spectators will be subject to the appropriate inspection of person and property before entering the championship. Note: Any other items deemed inappropriate or dangerous by the PGA Security in their sole discretion.

Items To Bring From Home
Here are a few items we recommend you bring from home to enhance your Championship experience:

  • CDC approved face coverings
  • Personal hand sanitizer (travel size)
  • Portable, canvas chair with a carry bag are permissible and subject to search at security checkpoint (no grandstands will be constructed for health and wellness purposes)
  • Personal sunscreen
  • Portable phone charger

Inclement Weather
Please observe the Leader Boards and Video Boards for the Weather Warning signs which will appear when inclement weather is approaching the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship site. When the signs appear, spectators are advised to take precautions and seek shelter PRIOR to play being suspended. If the sirens sound, seek shelter immediately.

In the event of inclement weather, please remember to avoid the following:

  • Metal Fences
  • Telephone Poles 
  • Open Fields
  • Golf Carts 
  • Hilltops and High Places
  • Bodies of Water 
  • Tall and/or Isolated Trees

First Aid Stations
First-aid stations staffed by Health medical professionals will be located near the main spectator gate next to the main drive of the club.

Disability Services  
The KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship is a fully accessible event, and we are dedicated to continually improving our efforts to ensure that you have access to all the Championship amenities. To learn more about the services provided this year, click here.

Complimentary Wi-Fi
Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available at a number of locations around the Championship grounds. Keep an eye out for Wi-Fi signs during your visit!

Portable Phone Charging
Portable phone chargers are available for use at the Fairway Club located in between 12 Fairway and 16 Tee.

Conduct, Customs and Etiquette
Attendees are requested to display traditional customs of etiquette, decorum, and behavior, and to obey all Championship policies including, but not limited to, those provided on each ticket, all posted signs, and any instructions of Championship Marshals and Officials. Inappropriate behaviors and/or failure to comply with standards/policies may lead to ejection from the Championship and/or cancellation of admission tickets, without refund. All spectators and volunteers are also encouraged to review the Championship’s Commitment to Health here

  • Although cheering and positive gallery responses to great play are encouraged, unsolicited and consistent calls from the gallery toward players and others are prohibited.
  • For the safety of everyone and in keeping with policy established at major sporting events, running is considered to be unacceptable behavior.
  • Please stay behind the gallery ropes and cooperate with instructions given by Championship Marshals.
  • Please kneel or sit if you are in the front row and remain still throughout each shot.
  • Anyone acting in a manner that is deemed to be abusive, derogatory, rude, or aggressive may be subject to removal from the Championship premises and may be prohibited from returning to the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship or attending any future PGA Championship event

Practice Rounds
During the Practice Rounds, players are invited to play at their discretion. No advance starting times are available for the Practice Rounds. Practice Rounds groupings will be displayed course-wide on the Video Boards.

Championship Rounds
Starting times as listed are considered approximate, and are based on the assumption that there are no delays, inclement weather, etc.

Starting on Holes #1 & #10 (groups of three)

Alfred S. Bourne Trophy Presentation
The Alfred S. Bourne Trophy Presentation Ceremony will take place on the 18th Green immediately following the end of play on Sunday, May 30th. In the event of a tie for first place after 72 holes, there will be a sudden death playoff starting on hole 18 and if the winner is not determined then the playoff will go back to hole 1. These two holes shall repeat until there is a winner. The BourneTrophy Presentation Ceremony will occur immediately following the play-off.

TRANSPORTATION & PARKING

There will be no shuttles available for the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship as patrons that do not have a parking pass will be required to use some form of rideshare when arriving at the Championship. The drop off location for rideshare will be 2630 E 65th Pl Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136. 

There are two parking lots that require a parking pass, which you will have if you have purchased hospitality, are a member of Southern Hills Country Club, or a volunteer.

KITCHENAID FAIRWAY CLUB
The KitchenAid Fairway Club, located in the Championship Courtyard to the right of the Hole 13 fairway, gives all spectators an opportunity to explore the KitchenAid brand and bring out their inner maker. Ask your culinary questions and watch live chef demonstrations throughout the week. Be inspired to experiment and challenge yourself in the kitchen.

KITCHENAID A WOMAN’S PLACE VIEWING & PANEL
KitchenAid will host a special screening of its documentary short, “A Woman’s Place,” that showcases the inspiring stories of emerging women in the culinary industry and the way they combat gender inequality every day. The viewing will be followed by a live panel discussion among local female chefs and restaurateurs about the obstacles they have overcome as women in the industry. Join us for this important discussion on Wednesday, May 26 at 12:30 p.m. at the Fairway Club as part of the new KitchenAid "Woman's Place Wednesday" initiative.

KITCHENAID PUTTING CONTEST
Test out your putting skills by participating in the KitchenAid putting contest. Each fan will get three chances to sink a putt on unique, KitchenAid-inspired putting greens located at the Fairway Club. 

KITCHENAID COMMUNITY MURAL 
Stop by the Fairway Club throughout the week to watch art in action! Local artist Alexander Tamahn (Taa - Mahn) will be live painting a mural in honor of the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. The colorful mural will embrace the spirit of Tulsa and the communities love for food and golf. This special piece of art will be dedicated to the Tulsa Whirlpool Corporation plant to commemorate the Championship event and continue providing inspiration for years to come.  

MAKER’S MEMORIES 
Whether you’re a seasoned maker or new to the kitchen, everyone has a favorite story and memory from time spent cooking. KitchenAid wants to capture these memories! Step inside the KitchenAid “Maker’s Memories” recording booth located at hole seven to share your story. These stories will be recorded for use in future KitchenAid content and enjoyed by fellow cooking enthusiasts for years to come. Send a copy of your story to a loved one, share it on social media or keep the cherished memory for yourself!

KITCHENAID SMOOTHIE SHOPPE
The picture perfect mobile KitchenAid Smoothie Shoppe will be touring Tulsa the weekend prior to the Championship. Follow the KitchenAid Smoothie Shoppe route on Twitter (@KitchenAid_golf) for your chance to snag signature smoothie recipes and other goodies!You can even watch demonstrations of the latest KitchenAid blender. The Smoothie Shoppe will be parked at the seventh hole throughout Championship week, so swing on by for all-things smoothies!

The PGA Shop will also offer a selection of exclusive accessories and gifts.

Methods of Payment
The following methods of payment are accepted onsite at the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, identified by location. All on-site transactions will be contactless. No cash will be accepted.

  • The PGA Shop: All major credit cards accepted
  • Concession and Beverage Stands: All major credit cards, apple pay and google pay accepted

Personal checks will NOT be accepted at the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. I plan to attend the Championship as a spectator or volunteer. Will face coverings be required?

A. Face coverings will be recommended outdoors for all spectators and volunteers (ages 2 and up). Face coverings will be required indoors and on shuttle buses. The PGA Shops and all hospitality venues on-site are considered outdoors. Please bring your own face coverings.

Q. What other measures are being taken to promote the health and well-being of those in attendance?

A. In coordination with the State of Oklahoma, our medical services provider Saint Francis Health System, and CDC guidelines, an extensive set of COVID-19 health and wellness measures have been developed to promote a responsible environment at the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.  To learn more about the PGA’s Commitment to Health, click here.

Q. When will I receive my tickets?

A. All spectator tickets will be delivered digitally via email in May 2021.

Q. How do I access my mobile tickets?

Additionally, you can access your tickets via your account under the Tickets section.

All ticket purchasers will receive an email with a link to access their mobile tickets from sender tickets@festivalticketing.com by May 15, 2021. Save this email so you can easily access it later. On the email, click View Tickets and login with your username and password. These are the credentials you signed in with when you purchased your tickets. Once logged in, you will find all of your tickets for the Championship. From there, you can download tickets to your Apple Wallet or transfer tickets to a friend. 

Q. How do I transfer my mobile tickets?

A. Transferring tickets to a different end-user is simple. Once in your ticketing account, navigate to your mobile tickets and select the transfer link for each ticket you wish to transfer. Once clicked, you will be prompted to enter a few pieces of information about the recipient in order to initiate the transfer.

Q. Can I print my tickets at home?

A. No. Printed tickets will not be accepted at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. If you are having difficulty accessing your mobile ticket on your day of attendance, please have your order number and email address handy and visit the Admissions and Will Call office near the Main Spectator Entrance. Q. Will juniors be able to attend the Championship free of charge?

A. As part of the Championship’s mission to grow interest and participation in the game of golf, juniors 17 years of age and younger will be admitted into the Championship grounds for FREE when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Each ticketed adult will be permitted four junior grounds admissions per day at no additional charge. Junior tickets may be picked up on-site at the Admission Sales & Will Call Office located at the Main Spectator Entrance on the day of admission. Junior tickets cannot be obtained in advance and will be available regardless of a sell-out. Junior tickets do not gain access into private hospitality areas, the Clubhouse or the Coors Light Pavilion.

Q. Do you have a policy for members of the military?

A. Q. How is the ticketing policy for PGA of America Members (Professionals) impacted by the reduced attendance measures?

A. We still plan to welcome all PGA Professionals onsite with complimentary access for themselves and one (1) guest at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. PGA of America Members, Associates and PGA Golf Management University Students should monitor PGA.org for updates.
