Michael Jonzon

Jonzon was born in Skara, Sweden. He turned professional in 1991 and has spent most of his career on the European and Challenge tours. He has two European Tour titles, 1997 Portuguese Open and the 2009 Castello Masters Costa Azahar. He had several wins in lower-level professional events.

Played in 429 European Tour events between 1995 and 2018. He made 194 cuts with 23 top-ten finishes, including two wins and two runner-up finishes. He earned euro2,699,271.

2022 Notes: He played in 11 Legends Tour events, with five top-ten finishes. He was 12th in the Order of Merit, earning euro105,767. His best finish was 2nd at the Farmfoods European Senior Masters, where he lost a playoff to Paul Lawrie, who birdied the first extra hole. He was T-5th at the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship and T-5th at the Legends Open de France. He ended his season with a T-6th finish at the Italian Senior Open.

2023 Notes: He played in 12 Legends Tour events and finished in four top-ten positions. He was 7th in the Order of Merit. Once again, he would go close to victory, finishing second at the WCM Legends Open de France behind Adilson da Silva. He was 4th at The Senior Open, and two more top-ten finishes made for an impressive season.

2024 Notes: He played in 17 Legends Tour events and had one top ten, T-10th at Sergio Melpignana Senior Italian Open. He was 36th in the Order of Merit, earning euro77,306.

2025 Notes: He played in 16 Legends Tour events and had one top ten, T-5th at WINSTONgolf Senior Open. He was 41st in the Order of Merit, earning euro75,121.

2026 Notes: Finished first at Legends Tour Qualifying school. Was T-22nd at Staysure Marbello Legends.
