For 110 years, Whirlpool Corp. has called Benton Harbor home. We’ve seen firsthand the incredible growth and revitalization of this great town since the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship was first played at Harbor Shores in 2012, a testament to what is possible when people come together for the good of the community. As the Championship returns to Benton Harbor this year, we could not be more excited to welcome you to our hometown as we spend the next several days showcasing all that makes Southwest Michigan a great place to live, work and play.

We have always been guided by strong company values and we continue to invest in our community for our employees and our neighbors. We take immense pride in this work and in our partnerships with local community organizations, business leaders and government officials. Our roots run deep here in Benton Harbor and we know how special of a place it is - now, we look forward to sharing that with you. From our great people to our unique products and memorable experiences, there will be no lack of activities at and around the Championship.

Before the Championship gets underway, we invite you to join us for two free community concerts. The first will take place in the Benton Harbor Arts District on Wednesday, May 25 featuring the band Sankofa. On Thursday, May 26, award-winning R&B singer Stephanie Mills and jazz sensation Gerald Albright will take to the stage at Dwight P. Mitchell City Center Park.

The KitchenAid Fairway Club will once again be the hub of activity off the golf course. This fun experience geared towards the entire family features cooking demonstrations, putting competitions, our signature KitchenAid Cafe, product displays you can interact with, and more. KitchenAid Chef Chris Covelli and a lineup of local favorites and celebrity chefs including Scott Conant, Stephanie Izard, and Melissa King will be on hand to showcase favorite recipes and answer culinary questions all while inspiring your inner maker in and out of the kitchen.

We are proud of what the partnership between KitchenAid and the PGA of America has been able to accomplish so far, and we are confident that the 2022 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship will be our best one yet. Together, we will continue to bring communities together through cooking and golf to create cherished memories.

We look forward to hosting you here in Southwest Michigan, and hope you will find time to enjoy our community, our beautiful scenery and our genuine Midwest hospitality in between what is sure to be some unforgettable senior golf!

Sincerely,
Marc Bitzer
