After playing at yardages of 348 and 337 yards, respectively, in the first two rounds, the hole played at just 265 yards Saturday. The hole played to an average of 3.92 the first two rounds, making it the third-easiest hole on the course.
“It's not like it's going to be a power hitter's dream,” said Stewart Cink, who leads the PGA TOUR Champions in driving distance (304 yards). “Everybody is going to be able to reach that green. It's probably going to be not even a driver for a lot of people.
“It's all going to be about how much discipline can you show, planning where you want to leave that ball, because it basically becomes like a par-5 second shot where it's all about where you leave your tee ball.”
